PS SALON & SPA

PS Salon & Spa is s eeking a compassionate and professional Salon Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service while working part time in our full-service Salon & Spa.

Location: Fairfax, VA

• CURRENT NEEDS: Part-time, Morning or Afternoon Shifts, 4-5 days/4 hour shifts

• Competitive hourly wage

• Must be proficient using an iPad and a Point of Sale System (POS)

  Responsibilities:

• Greet customers

• Answer phones and provide follow-up calls to customers

• Book and confirm service appointments

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace (wash & fold towels, capes, etc.)

• Help to build the business and support a welcoming atmosphere for everyone

• Must adhere to company dress code

• Exercise care and compassion towards customers

  Required Work Experience:

• MUST HAVE: Reliable transportation

• 1-2 years Receptionist experience (preferred)

• 1-2 years salon experience (preferred)

• Must be able to multi-task

• Must be adaptable to change in various environments

• Must have outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

  Education and Previous Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Two or more years of related experience

  Physical Demands:

• On a regular basis, requires the ability to reach with hands and arms

• On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 6 hours

• On a regular basis, requires the ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs.

• On a frequent basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel and crouch
