HOW DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • As an organized, analytical problem solver, you will lead a team that will design, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications.

  • Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Create, update and maintain system documentation

  • Write process requirements, technical design documents, and standard operating procedures

  • Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices

  • Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technology improvements, development best practices, standardization, and upgrades

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelors degree or higher plus 5+ years of relevant experince

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience AWS Enterprise Cloud, including experience with AWS CLI and AWS services such as IAM, EC2, EBS, ELB, CloudWatch, S3, Route 53, KMS, Cloud Formation, Systems Manager, and RDS

  • Thorough understanding of network concepts and technologies, including DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, Firewalls and NACLs

  • Scripting experience including Shell, Python, and working on common Linux distributions (RHEL, Amazon Linux etc.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Power BI and Cognos

  • Experince leading/managing a team

  • Candidate must have resided in the U.S. at least 3 out of the last 5 years

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a CMS Public Trust

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience with IBM Case Management System (ICM) or Camunda workflow engines a plus

  • Previous experience with fraud detection with the CMS Center for Program Integrity (CPI) a plus

  • Experince with data visualization , ETL functions and data modeling
