We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Tools SME to join our successful Federal organization with a focus on Tenable. You will support a dynamic, fast-paced project focused on improving the cybersecurity posture of civilian government agencies through improved implementation and enhancement of network monitoring and control tools and processes. You will help government agencies actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. You will also support the development of additional cybersecurity offerings focusing on next generation security solutions and technologies.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Deep experience with Tenable.SC and Tenable Vulnerability Management (io)

• Experience with multiple cybersecurity tools including but not limited to Qualys, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Lookout, etc.

• Hands-on administration, policy definition, planning, configuration, and implementation/deployment cybersecurity tools

• Test and evaluate technologies in a controlled lab environment

• Work with Service Delivery team in developing agency-specific designs and policies, to include working directly with agency technical and security SMEs

• Document, report and recommend tool solutions for customer environments

• Identify and assess customer information technology infrastructures regarding architecture, platforms, endpoints and overall security posture

• Research and analyze cybersecurity tool technologies

• Develop strategies and approach for deploying and configuring products

• Work closely with engineering and test teams and participate in technical and meetings with Agency technical specialists

• Document, publish and maintain a knowledge base of information pertaining to the functionality, processes and procedures related to the tools

• Work closely with customer delivery managers to prioritize daily tasks

• Deploy, configure and maintain tools in a secure cloud environment

• Support integration of tool data with other applications

• Provide network engineering support and troubleshooting as it related to tool integration

• Follow and perform ITIL Incident, problem and requirements management

• Develop and implement product test strategies and documents results for new feature deployments

• Provide documentation, guidance and training to end-users as needed

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Strong knowledge of ITIL and Security Administration experience: Authentication, Certificate system, etc.

• Ideal candidate can mentor, teach and grow to support growing customer requirements

• Must have great communication and documentation skills

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Security relevant certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, CEH

• Experience deploying cybersecurity tools in a cloud environment

• Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT Security concepts to include vulnerability and patch management, security operations, Incident Management and Incident response

• The candidate must be able to work with other team members and groups, work with competing priorities and possess strong customer focus

• Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $235,200.00.
