Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer 1Job Description

Seeking a cybersecurity engineer to join our team. You will support our prime contractor's Mission Avionics System Trainer (MAST) team, which has been providing Systems and Software Engineering support to the Navy for an airborne ISR platform. This platform includes extensive integration of real-time data sources and secure communications. The MAST is a full-pipeline multi-user team training system developed for the Navy’s Reconnaissance aircraft. This multi-station trainer uses digital and/or hardware simulations of the mission equipment, integrated with the actual mission software and stimulated by a realistic environment to provide high-fidelity task, individual, and crew training. This role will support all internal systems, labs, and software for our prime partner. You will support overall IA activities including scanning, STIGS, correcting issues, and developing patches. The Cybersecurity candidate will be responsible for the Information Assurance and Security of the associated training devices. Tasks can include using associated tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, Evaluate STIG, STIGViewer, Endpoint Security System (ESS), etc.), running STIGs, creating checklists, correcting issues, and developing evidence/artifacts to support control validation associated with the training devices.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fairborn, Ohio.

Work Environment

In office full time - cannot do any work or access any systems at home. Core hours are 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, offering flexibility to accommodate appointments, kids, etc. Must complete a full 40 hours in the office each week.
