Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) registration. (ARRT advanced qualification in mammography -Preferred)
• Must be certified in standard first aid and CPR.
• Background will be viewed
• Drug free environment

Essential Functions:

• Works as a mammography technologist on a part-time basis. Provides services during clinic hours as well as during planned rural outreach trips via roadways and air.
• Drives mobile digital unit to sites along the roadway and on occasion accompanies the unit on barge or ferry related trips. During limited seasonal trips, April-September.
• Maintains necessary documentation to be reviewed by Mammography Manager to ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are maintained.
• Reviews physician orders regarding assigned patient examinations and assures that the examining room is properly prepared for the procedure.
• Maintains a safe and harmonious environment during scheduled work hours.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with community groups, service agencies, referral sources and funding sources.
• Participates in fundraising activities, advocacy and public relations as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
