Job Description Overview CORT Party Rental is hiring for a Warehouse Associate skilled in Forklift Operations. This position is 75% standup forklift operation with the occasional warehouse work as business requires. Pay: $19-$21 / hour depending on experience Schedule: Schedule will vary from 40-60hours per week with overtime and double-time pay opportunities. Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures. Involved in all aspects of order fulfillment, from cleaning and repairing product to prepping orders and loading and unloading vehicles. Maintain and develop current warehouse practices. Look for opportunities to maximize flow and efficiency through layout, process, and inventory adjustments. Responsible for Shipping and Receiving, completing paperwork as necessary and informing various stakeholders of product arrival and departure. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Proficient in operating standup electric forklifts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Excellent communication skills; proficient in the English language. Must have reliable transportation. Required regularly to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk and climb or balance. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must pass background checks and drug screens (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
