Job Title: Advanced Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform and repair high/advanced complexity items such as electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and instruments according to defined procedures and instructions. You will also conduct functional testing, identify failure trends, and help train level 1 and 2 Test Technicians.
Responsibilities
Perform and repair items of high/advanced complexity, including electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and instruments, according to defined procedures and instructions.
Conduct functional testing of high/advanced complexity items.
Assist in training level 1 and 2 Test Technicians.
Identify failure trends, collect data, and present findings to supervisors and engineering.
Review and redline documentation errors for timely modifications and corrections.
Actively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings.
Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, modeling safe work practices.
Contribute to and support a positive and respectful workplace environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding written requirements, procedures, and specifications.
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, circuit schematics, engineering change orders, and customer service repair instructions.
Intermediate-level soldering skills.
Ability to work with all types of electronic test equipment.
Strong focus and attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and effectively as part of a team.
Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong focus on customer service.
Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills.
Comfortable working with computers and quickly learning/mastering new software and programs.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembly, electrical, and electronics.
Proficiency in soldering, troubleshooting, test equipment, repair, and calibration.
Ability to read blueprints and perform electrical assembly and troubleshooting.

Work Environment
Aerospace manufacturing and production machine shop. The employee will frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
