Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a Project Level Marine Structural Engineer to support projects for waterfront and marine facilities. Candidate will need to have a professional engineering license and at least five years of experience supporting structural design of foundations, piers and wharves, floating docks, and other waterfront infrastructure. Role will be mostly production based with some project management responsibilities as well. Open to structural candidates with experience working mostly with steel and concrete structures and have a strong interest in working on waterfront projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects for waterfront and marine facilities.

  • Perform structural design of foundations, piers and wharves, floating docks, and other waterfront infrastructure.

  • Engage in production-based tasks with some project management responsibilities.

  • Utilize structural analyses and design software such as Enercalc, Risa-3D, and SAP.

  • Apply knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MathCAD software.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study.

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).

  • 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering.

  • Experience in structural design of waterfront infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in structural analyses and design software such as Enercalc, Risa-3D, and SAP.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MathCAD software.

  • Strong interest in working on waterfront projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Interest in obtaining a SE license.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software.

Work Environment

Encourage engineers to be in the office 5 days a week, with a minimum in-office presence from Monday to Wednesday, and hybrid options on Thursday and Friday. Occasionally require onsite visits which may include visits to bases.
