Licensed Pharmacy Technicians – Everett, WA

Position Overview:

  • Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules.

  • Read computer-generated screens to locate and verify medication on shelves, checking size and strength.

  • Perform basic calculations to ensure the correct amount of units are dispensed.

  • Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells and open large product containers.

  • Use handheld scanners to track product, entering expiration dates and lot information into the system.

  • Maintain high levels of focus to avoid cross-contamination, performing quality checks for expired or damaged products.

  • Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions, ensuring proper handling and packing.

  • Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions.

  • Follow all HIPAA guidelines and pharmacy procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.

  • Complete weekly cycle counts as assigned and assist with discrepancy resolution as needed.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by addressing and escalating issues to management.

Education & Certifications:

  • Required: Pharmacy Technician License for the state of Washington.

  • Required: National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT).

  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pay Rate:

$25 - $26 per hour, based on experience, education, and location.

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

  • Monday: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

  • Wednesday: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

  • Friday: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Ability to accurately fill prescriptions in a high-volume setting.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem resolution skills to identify and address issues quickly.

  • Ability to maintain focus on tasks while performing repetitive duties.

  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
