Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Level 2

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler Level 2, you will be responsible for building packaging sub-assemblies to be installed into machines by a senior technician. You will also check parts for proper manufacturing, mount auxiliary equipment onto machines, correctly position parts, and drill, tap, and ream holes at designated points. Additionally, you will align and connect parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Experience in mechanical assembly

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

  • At least 1 year of experience in machine maintenance

  • Hand dexterity

  • Basic ability to read blueprints and schematics

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of auto mechanic or industrial/mechanical experience is highly preferred

  • Basic understanding of mathematic principles

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, or Monday to Thursday from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be working in a company that produces automated packaging machines for multiple end users.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.
