Providence St. Joseph Health Manager Behavioral Health - Emergency - Acute Care in Everett, Washington
Description Manager Behavioral Health - Emergency Department & Acute Care (Providence Regional Medical Center Everett; Everett, WA) SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE, Averaging 40 hours per week. 8a-5p PST, Monday-Friday, but ED runs 24/7, 365 and may require on-call phone support/consults. Provides leadership at the clinical level in the implementation and oversight of Emergency Department & Acute Care behavioral health services. While working closely with the team of Behavioral Health Specialists, the position collaborates with various healthcare providers, leaders and managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of quality patient care services. Leads team to deliver social work services, clinical social work, psychotherapy, collaborative care, psychiatry, behavioral health crisis services, and coordination of resources for patients in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards of care. Provides clinical supervision to caregivers working towards social work or mental health counselor licensure and oversees internship and practicum placements of social workers and mental health counselors. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License Or Upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor License Or Upon hire: Washington Psychologist License 5 years Direct clinical care of adults with behavioral health conditions Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Management experience in clinical setting with demonstrated supervisory competence and program management Completion of WA state approved Clinical Supervisor training Why Join Providence?
