Job Description Summary

Lead the L&D strategy for the core procurement roles in Sourcing. Design and facilitate impactful learning solutions that build institutional knowledge and compliance competency for procurement policies and procedures. Build upon the learning framework to leverage FLIGHT DECK, integrate standard work, and fundamental skills development into the learning plans.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Use in-depth knowledge within discipline and/or function to execute the L&D strategy. Understand how the learning framework provides consistency and standardization across commodity teams and/or part families.

  • Process ownership for Audience creation and Compliance data management.

  • Process development for Competency Model Skills Gap analysis

  • Ownership for development of emerging learning needs

  • Provide knowledge of best practices (if they exist) and/or lead the function through the creation of best practices (if they don't exist now).

  • Effect change within your function and across the business.

  • Provide guidance and resource support for new learners. Will lead large projects as the Sourcing function continues to evolve. Leverage your influencing skills; bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Convey performance expectations and will handle sensitive issues.

  • Jobs at this level function with high levels of autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results.

  • Uses good judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of sourcing, training, program management or similar experience + minimum of 5 years sourcing, training, program management or similar experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior Sourcing experience and evidence of purchase order compliance and data management.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems without direct supervision.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
