Description We are seeking a PC Technician in Evansville, Indiana, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the tech industry. The primary focus will be on upgrading devices, rebuilding laptops, and providing troubleshooting support.

Responsibilities:

• Upgrade and configure both Windows and Mac devices

• Rebuild laptops, which includes reinstallation of operating systems and setting up computers via InTune

• Log in with temporary access codes and install applications

• Augment full-time staff by working alongside them to ensure smooth operations

• Provide additional support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

• Assist with additional device rebuilds as necessary

• Utilize skills in Windows OS, Mac OS, and Hardware Troubleshooting to effectively perform tasks

• Adjust to changes in shift timings as required, potentially including second shift work. Requirements • Possesses proficiency in Windows OS

• Demonstrates expertise in Mac OS

• Has experience in hardware troubleshooting

• Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PCs

• Familiarity with standard office software and applications

• Has excellent problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills to explain technical terms in a non-technical language

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrates patience and a customer-friendly attitude

• Has a strong attention to detail
