Responsibilities
Improve performance on all Zyn systems.
Modify and improve as needed all Zyn systems.
Assist department management and automation engineers with project requests.
Assist manager and supervisor sourcing replacement parts and/or part numbers.
Train automation technicians on functionality of existing and new equipment.
Technical leadership role training Journeymen and Apprentices.
Modify as needed automation equipment.
Look into improvements that can be made to robots and automation systems.
Work on projects assigned by automation department manager.
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
Qualifications
LOTO certified.
Arc Flash certified.
JDE work order documentation.
Modify if needed robots in injection molding.
Tune robotic applications as production needs arise.
Qualifications
High School diploma / GED equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Machinist / fabrication skills.
Ability to make improvements upon equipment operations.
Must have completed four years maintenance mechanic apprentice program or manager approved equivalent.
Able to work independently and with others.
Dependable and motivated
Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others.
Able to climb ladders safely.
Able to work overhead or in awkward positions on a frequent basis.
Ability to work safely on elevated surfaces.
Ability to lift 50 pounds; 20 pounds over shoulder height.
Able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to verbal warnings, alarms, and horns on forklifts.
Verbal communication adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in the other areas of the complex.
Flexibility to stay over or come in early to meet department objectives.
