Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintain and repair facilities, including painting, wall repair, floor repair, and any other necessary facilities repair work. Answer trouble calls and repair equipment to minimize downtime. Keep your supervisor informed to ensure effective inter and intra-departmental communication.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair facilities, including painting, wall repair, and floor repair.

  • Answer trouble calls and repair equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Keep your supervisor informed to ensure effective communication.

  • Execute projects assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Document work on work orders and check sheets as directed.

  • Maintain work areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.

  • Collaboratively perform other duties as needed to support company goals.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical maintenance

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Schematic and blueprint reading

  • Repair and troubleshooting

  • Hydraulics and mechanical skills

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Equipment repair

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • No equipment maintenance experience required

  • Ensure safety compliance

  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

  • Help maintain a positive and safe work environment

  • Stay abreast of new technologies through trade magazines, training classes, and technical manuals

Work Environment

This position requires access to office, manufacturing, and outdoor workspaces. You will frequently walk, stand, climb, bend, twist, see, hear, and talk. Use your hands to handle tools, controls, or products and lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting/transferring of objects up to 75 lbs with assistance. You will work in environments with different temperatures and various food allergens.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Eugene, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
