Business Unit Overview

8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Our 8th Avenue Facilites Technician roles are responsible to provide support to the maintenance, production and shipping/receiving groups for the preventative and corrective maintenance, repair, and installation of all activities at all Attune Foods Eugene facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily pass-down of information to Maintenance Team and Management Accurately report data on preventive maintenance schedules as well as inform management of problem areas within their area Be involved in preparation of project timeline, requirements, and costing Work with departments/vendors/contractors to ensure materials, scheduling, sanitation, etc. are supporting their needs and vice-versa Understand and adhere to Attune Foods Eugene personnel policies and discipline procedures Follow plant safety policies, operational procedures and quality control procedures Maintain current GMPs and Quality standards Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Required: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

One year in facility maintenance and / or construction Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to follow written methods, paying close attention to details Must be able to follow specific work direction and adjust as necessary to accomplish the job Must be able to maintain legible & accurate records / paperwork as required

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to bend, crouch, stoop, sit, and kneel for 4+ hours per shift Must be able to balance for 8+ hours per shift Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs for 8+ hours per shift Must be able to climb/work off ladder, and reach above shoulders for 4+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a dusty environment, high heat, or humidity for 8+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds infrequently Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word Must be able to make fine distinctions by sound Must be able to distinguish object or equipment visually Wage: $18.50+ depending on experience All offers are contingent upon a successful drug screen and background check. Attune Foods, LLC’s pre-employment test does not include marijuana/THC.
