The Hertz Corporation Director, Remarketing in Estero, Florida

The Director (Remarketing) will lead a team to expand the company’s retail car sales footprint and division profitability through executing key initiatives, such as enhancing platforms, the customer’s journey and improving functionality. Focus will be on optimizing digital sales, overseeing online marketing and managing a successful dealer management system. Additionally, the Director will execute the business objectives of retail growth by managing the retail licensing and collaborating with the operations teams to increase sales through retail car sales.

Starting salary is $100K; commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ideate and execute initiatives that deliver key business objectives to drive more volume through the retail car sales and deliver additional revenue to the company.

  • Implement website performance strategies to enhance digital experiences and grow online presence.

  • Collaborate with Vehicle Remarketing team to increase physical footprint through new locations and expanding existing locations and develop their online authority.

  • Manage the Dealer Management System vendor to ensure reliable systems and functionality enhancements are in budget and timely.

  • Manage new and existing digital partnerships, set objectives and analyze their performance to ensure positive ROI.

  • Generate presentations for Vehicle Remarketing team that deliver precise and concise messaging around strategy and progress towards initiatives.

  • Enhance approaches for vehicle listings, website functionality and online user experience like vehicle valuations, online car buying, customer support.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Computer Science

  • Proven interest and understanding in business management, marketing and advertising.

Professional Experience:

  • 2-3 years in Project Management

  • 3-5 years in Marketing and/or equivalent eCommerce Analyst experience with direct experience in digital presence / automotive sales.

  • Experience working in cross functional teams.

Skills:

  • Experience managing and executing high-level projects

  • Highly organized and able to manage a group of people to deliver business objectives

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complicated data into valuable information

  • Ability to work collaboratively with third-party suppliers / partners to deliver efficient results

  • Proven knowledge and experience analyzing key metrics of digital marketing and sales

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Teams

  • Attention to detail with the ability to respond to last minute requests

  • Strong sense of individual accountability and follow-through

  • Punctual and hardworking nature

  • Analytically driven
