Santa Maria El Mirador Direct Care Professional in Espanola, New Mexico
The Direct Care Professionalprovides and documents direct training and other support services to participants, in an assigned group home location (2-6 participants), while providing community integration activities. Support services include but are not limited to: personal hygiene, housekeeping, cooking, following behavioral, medical, and Individualized Program Plans to provide a healthy, safe, and meaningful environment to our program participants. We have openings in both Santa Fe and in Alcalde/Espanola.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED with accreditation as determined by the State of New Mexico is preferred. Must be able to provide proof (original diploma or official transcripts) upon hire.
- Must be able to work flexible hours/locations. Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License with no DWIs/DUIs and no more than three moving violations within the last three years.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within first 30 days of employment and maintain during employment (SMEM offers training during orientation).
- Current negative TB skin test results (within last year).
- Current drug screen with negative results.

Must pass NM Caregivers Criminal History Screening
