RME - Learning Ambassador

Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring for RME Technical Trainers to join the RME Technical Learning Team! At Amazon we believe that Every Day is still Day One! We continue to develop technical courses, skills-based training, practical exercises and assessments for our Maintenance teams who maintain equipment within our Fulfillment, Transportation, and Global Specialty Operations (GSO) centers. We have adopted a blended approach by mixing both instructor-led, web-based and skills-based (practical hands-on) methods of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Travel to sites to deliver technical training on MHE and Robotics assets

· Develop training plans for service technicians

· Develop and maintain technical training content and deliverables

· Administer LMS tasks such as schedule sessions, register participants and instructor resources

· Partner with learning strategy team to preserve consistent program experience for all learners through defined curriculum, milestones, and interactions

· Develop and document workflows and processes

· Provide content and class feedback to learning strategy team to drive improvements

· Coordinate local logistics

· Ensure conducive learning environment and facilities

· Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals

· Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization

· Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance

· Work all days and shifts, including overtime (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, including holidays)

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

  • 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience

  • 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience

  • 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience

  • 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, National Electrical Code (NEC), work order management

  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in vendor management

  • Experience with robotic maintenance
