Job Description:

Material Handler – Erlanger, KY

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand, and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets

  • Check and add all materials listed on the pick sheets

  • Accurately weigh materials for production areas

  • Follow QC sampling procedures and report QC deviations

  • Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners

  • Pull & return material in approved locations in warehouses

  • Responsible for cycle counting locations

  • Follow ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures

  • Responsible for shipping functions, labeling products and checking customer orders before shipping to the customer

  • Responsible for inventory record accuracy of 96% or greater

Required Skills:

  • Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understanding and following company safety procedures

  • Exhibit regular and timely attendance

  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed

  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed

  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly

  • Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.

  • Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8-hour shift

  • Wear a respirator

  • Able to stand, walk, lift, reach, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift
