Position Overview: As a Clinical Assistant at our PDHC, you will be at the heart of nurturing young minds and providing exceptional care under the guidance of our expert nursing team. Get ready for a dynamic role that's all about enriching the lives of children and promoting their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel your inner superhero to perform a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Using your incredible body mechanics for safe care delivery

  • Measuring vital stats like weight, head circumference, height, and abdominal girth

  • Assisting with range of motion exercises

  • Mastering ambulation, transfers, and positioning with medical equipment

  • Crafting delicious and nutritious meals and feeds (PO and tube) tailored to each child's dietary needs

  • Meeting special conditions and needs within your authorized scope

  • Become the child's personal guardian of hygiene, from bath-time fun to helping with dressing and eating.

  • Embrace your role as a meticulous documentarian, ensuring all records are impeccably maintained.

  • Take on PDHC housekeeping duties with flair, from keeping things squeaky clean to promoting safety and sanitation.

  • Create magical moments for children by providing play opportunities that foster fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skill development.

  • Join in educational in-services and engage with the team in patient care meetings.

  • Never miss a beat as you ensure every child's safety and well-being, never leaving them unattended.

Requirements:

  • A high school graduate or GED, because education is the first step in our journey together.

  • Current CPR certification – you'll be their guardian angel when they need it most.

  • Show off your skills and check them off with proficiency.

Additional state-specific requirements:

  • Stay in tune with current state regulations to keep us compliant.

Physical Requirements:
