Adaptive Construction Solutions Carpenter/Laborer in Erie, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of products including: cabinets, drywall, doors, windows, tile, flooring and other major remodeling items.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge for renovation work
  • Drywall finishing
  • Flooring, framing, painting, and cabinetry knowledge
  • Installation of a wide variety of accessibility products
  • Perform work in accordance with safety best practices
  • Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs
  • Document repairs and maintain thorough records
  • Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed
  • Measure and mark materials for alterations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • At least 1 year of construction experience. Ideally 2 years of general carpentry/construction experience. Completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand, air, and power tools
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Plumbing, electrical, framing, and mechanical knowledge
  • Lead Testing Certification preferred or willing to obtain
  • Possession of (or willing to obtain prior to start) the following tools: Screwdrivers, tin snips, pry bars, pliers (wire cutters, channel lock, & needle nose), wrenches, hammer, impact drill, drill, reciprocating saw, drywall tools, paint brush, tape measure, levels, tool belt, gloves
