Responsibilities
The purpose of the Courier is to provide courier, mail and other assigned services in support of operational needs of various business units and services to Members 1st.
The Courier position provides courier services, mail room services and works with a team. The role will pick up and deliver mail, packages, boxes, checks and supplies from and to assigned locations using established routes and time schedules. The role will be required to log in and documents delivery and pickups in accordance with established guidelines. Additionally, the role will be responsible for vehicle safety, fluid levels, cleanliness and reporting of any problems or concerns. The role will sort mail and packages in accordance with established procedures as well as process outgoing mail in accordance with established procedures. The role will maintain par levels of supplies in designated locations. IN addition, the role will also require the ability to operate computerized postal equipment and folding machine.
The role has no budgetary impact, although it does impact credit union profitability, member satisfaction and business unit operating costs through efficient performance of assigned tasks and duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral * Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 30 pounds, and frequently up to 10 pounds constantly in order to move objects * Must be able to climb stairs * Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl * Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish colors * Visual acuity to operate machinery and motor vehicles * To be able to be subject to inside and outside environments Qualifications
