Insight Global Manufacturing Inspector in Englewood, Colorado

Job Description

An aviation company in Denver, CO is looking for a manufacturing inspector to join their team for a short term contract. This individual will be responsible for performing thorough inspections of aerospace components and assemblies at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings & work instructions, quality standards, and industry requirements. This individual will need to have experience utilizing a variety of precision measuring tools and will need to be able to understand complex engineering drawings. There is possibility for conversion but it will start out as a 3 month contract, the individual must be okay with the possibility of a short term contract. The pay range is between $52,000 and $79,000

Skills and Requirements

  • GED

     - 5+ years of inspection experience

     - Proficient understanding of precision measuring instruments

  • Ability to read and interpret an engineering blueprint along with basic math skills - Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 or TS16949 quality management systems

     - Associates degree or technical certification

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvements null
