Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products

  • Supervise and mentor staff

  • Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff

  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory

  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle

  • Perform month-end closing activities for complex transactions (ie. journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations) within the time frame determined by management

  • Ensure SOX compliance with assigned responsibilities, including updating documentation

  • Identify and recommend potential close and process efficiencies, align competing strategies, and help to eliminate redundancies within the business unit

  • Continually look for improvements to current processes

  • Assist with implementation of inventory accounting systems and inventory control procedures, including testing and documenting installations and upgrades

  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and minimum five to eight years related experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of accounting (including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, US GAAP, SOX, SEC Reporting) is required

  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
