Insight Global Data Engineer in Englewood, Colorado
Job Description
A financial client of Insight Global's is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to work in a hybrid environment (1-3 days a week) in Greenwood Village, or fully remote in IL or MN. In this position you will play a pivotal role in helping to build and scale the companies' data platforms on AWS. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineers to help design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into their data lake/warehouse.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (or 5+ years of experiences in software engineering or DevOps) with a strong focus on cloud-based environments.
Strong proficiency in Terraform, SQL and Python.
Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, EKS, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, and AWS Kinesis.
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and serverless computing.
Knowledge of data warehousing/data lake concepts and best practices.
Understanding of data modeling and data architecture.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. null
