Job Title: Parts Inspector

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Parts Inspector to perform visual inspections on aerospace parts. The Parts Inspector will provide objective evidence of results, perform auditing surveillance and monitoring, identify and document discrepancies using the non-conformance system, segregate and control non-conforming items, review rework dispositions, and assist in product reviews with internal customers during product or process verification. This is a full-time, onsite position in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on aerospace parts.

• Provide objective evidence of inspection results.

• Conduct auditing surveillance and monitoring.

• Identify and document discrepancies using the non-conformance system.

• Segregate and control non-conforming items.

• Review rework dispositions.

• Assist in product reviews with internal customers during product or process verification.

Essential Skills

• Experience in aerospace parts inspection.

• Proficiency in visual inspection and quality control.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to review documentation thoroughly.

• Experience with receivables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to look at part markings and verify they match specifications.

• Skill in verifying parts are not scratched or dinged.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must pass a pre-employment eye exam.

Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting within a warehouse. It is air-conditioned, very clean, and well-organized. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Enfield, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
