Full-time onsite:

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Job Description :

BAE Systems is seeking a Production Control Planner that plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules. Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules.

  • Coordinates with material planners to ensure a controlled flow to meet contractual demands.

  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.

  • Works closely with Quality Control to ensure that any non-conforming product is controlled.

  • Works closely with Customer Service representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure product is shipped according to contractual commitments.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 2-4 years' work experience in a Manufacturing environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Excellent communication skills orally and written.

  • Comfortable leading discussions and speaking in front of others

  • Ability to maintain professional and effective relationships with internal customers.

  • Solid interpersonal skills used when interfacing, scheduling with Company personnel, customers and external suppliers.

  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer databases to acquire data for processing (FLX, Oracle,)

  • Excellent Time Management / Multitasking Skills to meet deadlines.

  • Problem Solving Skills

  • Understanding of Engineering Change Orders.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in multi-discipline work environment.

  • Ability to plan complex build schedules.

  • Oracle Database experience

  • Power BI experience

  • Lean Training

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
