Description

Our client is on the lookout for a sharp Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily AR tasks, posting customer payments, and keeping accurate accounting records. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your main objective will be to ensure the company receives payments for goods and services and properly records the transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post customer payments by recording checks, transactions, and credit card activities.

• Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.

• Verifying invoices and resolving discrepancies to ensure proper billing.

• Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying amounts; preparing a report.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role.

• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
