Job Title: Quality Technician $25+HR
Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting inspection results using the appropriate specified sampling plan, procedure, or work instruction. You will perform receiving inspections on supplied products, resins, and component parts for production or assembly. Additionally, you will carry out first piece, final, and in-process inspections on all products or assemblies manufactured or produced by the company. Special testing on products or assemblies that require specific procedures will also be part of your duties. Ensuring that gauges are calibrated and in working condition and verifying that products meet specified requirements are crucial aspects of this role. You will record test and inspection data, apply statistical methods where applicable, and perform both destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, and products.
Responsibilities
Conduct and document inspection results using specified sampling plans, procedures, or work instructions.
Perform receiving inspections on supplied products, resins, and component parts for production or assembly.
Carry out first piece, final, and in-process inspections on all products or assemblies manufactured.
Conduct special testing on products or assemblies that require specific procedures.
Ensure gauges are calibrated and in working condition before use.
Verify that products, materials, and parts meet specified requirements using visual inspection, gauge devices, or other metrology devices.
Record test and inspection data, and apply statistical methods where applicable.
Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, and products.
Stamp, tag, or mark products with approval or rejection status.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using calipers, blueprints, micrometers, height gauges, CMM operation, and optical comparators.
Experience with quality inspection, visual inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
Knowledge of GD&T, first article inspection, incoming inspection, and in-process inspections.
Experience with CMM programming, gauges, calibration, microscopes, and metrology.
Ability to follow work instructions and understand resin quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T experience.
Prior experience using CMM and optical comparators.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
