Anytime Fitness Fitness Membership Sales & Club Manager in Elmsford, New York
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Fitness Membership Sales & Club Manager at Anytime Fitness in Pleasantville, NY. This is a full-time position in the franchise industry with a base salary and a commission structure. As the Fitness Membership Sales & Club Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing the overall operations of the gym. You will be the face of our club and the main point of contact for our members, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere at all times. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time role with a competitive base salary of $19 to $21 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place, providing an opportunity for additional earnings. The role also includes benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a complimentary gym membership. Responsibilities: -Drive membership sales through proactive outreach, networking, and marketing efforts -Create and execute sales strategies to reach revenue targets and increase membership retention -Handle the day-to-day operations of the gym, including opening/closing procedures and managing staff schedules -Provide superior customer service to members, including giving tours, answering questions, and addressing concerns -Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential corporate clients to increase corporate membership sales -Implement marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract new members and retain current members -Track and analyze monthly sales reports to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments -Hire, train, and motivate a team of fitness coaches to provide high-quality training sessions for members -Ensure the gym is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times -Stay up to date on industry trends and attend trainings to continuously improve sales and management skills -Handle member inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and effective manner -Adhere to all company policies and guidelines at all times Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred -2+ years of experience in sales and/or management in the fitness industry -Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets -Strong leadership and interpersonal skills -Excellent communication and customer service skills -Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends -Knowledgeable about health and fitness and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals -Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales tracking software -Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
