Cattle Scan Regional Account Mgr - Remote Position in Elmira, New York

Duration: 6-month contract to start and potential for a permanent role on the team. Location: Hybrid Central NY (ideally in Syracuse, Ithaca, Batavia or Rochester) with quarterly visits to HQ located just outside Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Compensation: Base salary + bonus, benefits, stock option and revenue sharing plan, 3 weeks vacation.

We're on the lookout for a stellar Regional Account Manager based in the Central NY area, covering the North-East region of the United States. If you've got a knack for understanding the ins and outs of the dairy industry, particularly when it comes to the well-being of our moo-tastic friends and their reproductive systems, then you might just be the perfect fit! <P> We need someone who can charm the socks off both new and existing clients, working those sales targets with finesse while spreading the word about our amazing solutions.
Your responsibilities will be a delightful mix of: - Smashing sales targets for the region. - Warming up leads through friendly chats and visits. - Hunting down fresh opportunities to grow our market share. - Showing off our fantastic product benefits to our dairy farmers and providing them with top-notch training. - Building and nurturing relationships with the bigwigs in the dairy industry. - Mingling at industry events and conferences to sprinkle some magic dust on our brand. - Keeping those creative juices flowing and brainstorm new ways to make our brand shine. - Ensuring our customers are as happy as a cow in clover and swiftly sorting out any issues which may arise. - Keeping management in the loop with timely and spot-on forecasts and reports. - Gathering feedback from our customers and passing it along to our product wizards who are constantly tinkering with ways to improve our services. <P>Requirements: - A bachelor's degree in business admin or perhaps something related to animal sciences or agricultural business. - At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the dairy field or another area related to agriculture. - A solid grasp of all things dairy, whether it's health, genetics, welfare or reproduction. - Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. - The ability to shine both independently and as part of our fabulous team. - Tech savvy skills including MS Office, Google Suite and a little CRM magic with HubSpot preferred. - Familiarity with Dairy Comp or other heard management platforms would be a lovely bonus! - A willingness to roam the region (and beyond!) with your trusty vehicle and valid license.
