Cement Forms Carpenter Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard (make concrete forms), using carpenter's hand tools and power tools

The pay rate for this job is $30 / hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Immediate need for Concrete Form Carpenters for large local project in Rapid City South Dakota.

• Work consists of prepping work areas, building concrete forms, tying rebar, and assisting with concrete pours.

• Normal work schedule is Monday to Saturday (6 Days) Job is expected to last 4-6 months in duration

• Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required formwork dimensions and configurations

• Measure and cut wood, metal, or other materials to construct concrete forms and supports

• Assemble and install concrete forms, braces, and supports according to the project requirements

• Ensure that all formwork is properly aligned, level, and secured to prevent concrete leakage

• Apply release agents or sealants to the formwork surfaces to facilitate easy removal after concrete has set

• Dismantle and remove formwork once the concrete has cured, ensuring minimal damage to the concrete surface

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have reliable transportation, basic hand tools, and pass background check
