The Senior Channel Manager is responsible for building, managing and growing a specific base of Indirect Agents (Partners) as well as recruiting new Partners. They will be accountable for new revenue and uplift revenue from the Partners they support. They will also be accountable for driving new sales, growing revenues and building effective strategic relationships within the Channel Ecosystem. In addition, the Channel Manager will conduct him/herself in a manner that will create a strong motivation to promote Consolidated Communications' services. This position requires a high level of activity with the Partners and the ability to manage sales relationships that have no direct reporting structure. Responsibilities Primary focus on Partner development that will result in reaching and exceeding New revenue targets each month. Interface with Partners, TSD's, and clients to answer inquiries, establish ongoing cadences and ultimately generate New revenue. Develop and follow a business plan that promotes a high level of Channel facing activities and key behaviors for funnel growth and consistent attainment. Actively target sales Opportunities deals of $1,000.00+ monthly recurring revenue (MRR) potential. Prepare quotes for new and uplift contracts in a teaming fashion with assigned Partner Support Manager, especially on Opportunities in the $250.00 - $1,000.00 MRR range. Conduct ongoing and detailed business reviews, updates, and check in's within your assigned Partner portfolio and other key influential contacts. Facilitate adds, moves and changes for customers with internal Partner Support Team Educate new and assigned Partners on CCI win space, products, delivery / care and overall Partner entitlements with your SE and other internal resources Manage sales funnel and document activity within Salesforce.com to be reviewed weekly with CCI sales leadership. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications 4-year degree or the equivalent in experience. 8+ years technical sales experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Ability to maintain self-motivation. Excellent presentation skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong computer skills / Experience with Salesforce.com Telecommunications and/or data experience preferred.
