In this competitive, fast-paced industry, you will be able to quickly retain knowledge of products and electrical systems through a variety of on-the-job training. You will be involved in the day-to-day warehouse logistics, deliveries, shipping and receiving freight, order picking, product stocking, warehouse organization, entering and filling customers' orders, sales calls, customer service, and more.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Good mechanical skills.

• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist

• Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift

• Ability to climb ladders to pull material

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• • 2+ years of customer service experience

• 1+ years of sales experience, retail or B2B

• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

  While performing the duties of this job, warehouse associates are regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of warehouse/distribution experience preferred

• AA diploma preferred

Working Conditions: General office and warehouse conditions. Occasional operation of warehouse equipment and driving of a work truck for local deliveries. Periodically lift up to 50+ lbs. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: · Take inbound customer calls and online orders · Prepare orders for delivery/will-call · Local deliveries to contractors · Timely follow-up with customers on their orders and materials · Take pride in all warehouse organization and operations · Create Sales Registers · Receive and forward customer and vendor feedback to management · Exceed customer expectations, ensure our customers’ orders are cared for and accurate · Effectively communicate and aid the inside and outside sales team CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.
