Job Summary Central Washington University is recruiting a CATPlan Budget Administrator to join our Budget team in Ellensburg, Washington. This role is an important member of our team as they are responsible for maintaining and updating financial information in our budget systems, over-seeing reconciliation across campus, and provide budget support for select areas across the University. On a monthly basis this position updates our budget systems with information as of the fiscal month close, updates reporting, and reconciling that information back to our financial systems. On a yearly basis this position helps setup forms/reports for future fiscal year reporting/planning, including making necessary adjustments for key cost drivers, and helps to determine initial funding allocations. On an ad-hoc basis, this position can be requested to help create additional reports to help deliver requested financial information to applicable upper-level administrators and budget managers. Between monthly accounting close/budget updates, this position will help to coordinate and ensure that reconciliations of asset and liability accounts are being completed across the University. In some cases, this means helping to reconcile accounts and setup processes for departments to eventually take-over moving forward. While this position primarily works on the back end, communicating with primary budget support personnel, they are still responsible for supporting divisional areas for budget support as needed, and there are instances in which they will need to interact with end users for technical support.
