Position Summary:Northeastern Nevada Physician Practices is seeking a friendly, motivated, MA/Front Desk Receptionist to join our Women's Services and Pediatrics Clinics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the front office procedures in a busy medical practice. Receiving patients, preparing charts and medical records, handling worker's compensation referrals, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays and payments on accounts, keeping the front desk, and waiting area neat and organized.

The shared responsibilities as part of the Medical Assisting include providing direct patient care, chart work, clinical procedures and assisting in medical practice. Must be proficient in medical terminology, detail oriented and self-motivated.

This position reports directly to Practice Manager and Physician.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: *Graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program preferred.*
  • License/Certification:American Heart Association BLS certification required within 60-days of hire.
  • Experience: *1 – 2 years medical office experience preferred. Previous Medical Assistant and front office experience preferred.*
  • Other Requirements: *Excellent customer service skills. Typing and grammatical skills. Demonstrates attitude of cooperation and professionalism.*
