Job Title: CNC Programmer/Foreman

Job Description

Seeking a 1st shift CNC Programmer/Foreman for a small family-owned shop in Elkhart, IN. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of 7+ CNC machinists on equipment such as Horizontal Boring Mills, Mill-Turns, Vertical Mills, and Manual Machinery. You'll also be responsible for programming new jobs, machining when necessary, and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Your role includes accurately assessing requisite processes, machines, and timing for prospective jobs, driving revenue, motivating machinists to hit KPIs, and reporting any machine problems to the Plant Manager. Additional responsibilities include utilization of shop math (Geometry & basic Trigonometry), metric conversion, working with ERP/MRP systems regularly, reading blueprints, and GD&T interpretation.
