We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized accounts payable clerk to join our dynamic finance team. Job Description: The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing and preparing all invoices on a daily basis and supporting our finance department with various tasks. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable, and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices for payment, including matching, batching, and coding. Perform monthly reconciliations of payable ledger. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Maintain vendor files, including contact information, payment terms, and invoices. Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Ensure accurate and timely payment of all invoices. Assist with other accounting projects in the office as needed. Requirements Proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk (1-2 years preferred). Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well.
