Job Description

As a Batch Adjuster in the QC Lab, you will ensure that all prescribed testing of production batches is conducted according to established test methods. You will verify that all production batches meet required specifications, including color limits, before filling. Your role will also include ensuring that products remain within specifications at the time of filling and approving final fill check panels for production. You will perform various quality tests such as color, gloss, viscosity, and physical properties. Additionally, you will determine adjustments needed to bring products into quality specifications and maintain records of batch adjustments and fill checks on batch tickets. Following ISO procedures, preparing fill check panels, and consulting with the Quality Manager are key responsibilities. You will also work on short-term projects aimed at improving the efficiency of the Quality Department, handle hazardous waste transfers, and ensure proper labeling of hazardous waste containers. Maintaining clean and organized workstations and retain storage areas is essential.

Work Environment

95% lab, 5% floor.
