Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician III

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician III to join our 2nd shift team from 4:20pm to 2:50am. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Availability for overtime, including weekends and during peak production times, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance of production equipment

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of CNC production equipment during production

  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make machine adjustments

  • Disassemble and assemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of applicable maintenance training

  • 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in CNC machine tool repair in a Fanuc systems environment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance skillset

  • Skills in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, and electrical

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

  • Team player with a positive outlook

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weights necessary at times

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to read and write in English

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and safe manufacturing facility. You will be working on the 2nd shift from 4:20pm to 2:50am. The role requires consistent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 pounds, with heavier weights necessary at times. Proper safety regulations must be followed, and a clean, orderly work area must be maintained. The facility offers modern equipment and technologies to support your role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
