Job Title: Lamination Operator

Job Description

A challenging yet rewarding opportunity is available for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a knack for operating machinery. As a Lamination Operator, you will be responsible for mixing adhesives according to specific formulas, conducting first piece inspections, and setting up and operating machinery as per the prescribed procedures. Additionally, your duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of the machinery and adjacent work area to SQF standards, handling hazardous waste, and reporting any quality issues for further analysis and/or remedy. You will also assist with various tasks such as adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls, and operating the machine during break coverage. Participation in company's Performance System (SPS) activities is also required.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment can get dirty and may have an odor during production due to adhesive handling. The facility is a 500,000 sqft space where safety is a top priority. The workspace is extremely clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern machinery. The facility is divided into various departments such as Print, Lamination, Slitting, Warehouse, and Maintenance. It boasts a strong tenured workforce, and continuous investment in new machinery is planned for the next 3-5 years. The facility also includes updated breakrooms with new self-serve vending processes. Protective gear such as safety shoes, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses are mandatory.
