About the role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Operations for the Elk Grove, Illinois production facility. This pivotal position will lead the entire facility in producing inks and make-up fluid that are essential to keeping critical marking and coding equipment running at customer sites. This role will lead the tactical and strategic execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity, by developing and empowering their team to utilize the Veralto Enterprise System to deliver sustainable results.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Operations, this role is based in Elk Grove, IL, requiring an on-site presence of five days per week. If you are passionate about driving world-class performance, we invite you to join us and contribute to our corporation's continued success.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team to consistently achieve or surpass monthly goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity, and other agreed-upon objectives.

  • Partner with site leadership team and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and achievement of monthly plan.

  • Operate at a senior level with a high level of autonomy, while also collaborating with the global Operations team and other sites to optimize results for Videojet.

  • Recruit, develop, and empower a diverse team to deliver world-class results, while also fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

  • Understands and drives lean manufacturing principles.

  • Develop and execute long-term plan for the site to ensure capability of meeting customer needs in the future.

Are you qualified?

  • Minimum of 10 years in Operations, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role.

  • University degree required and advanced degree preferred (Majors Preferred: Engineering, Manufacturing).

  • Six Sigma/Lean experience.

  • Strong background in manufacturing/operations/supply chain, and desirable to have experience in the manufacture of flammable/hazardous fluids.

  • Proven track record of delivering results through leading leaders of teams.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, results-driven, data-led organization.

  • Ability to travel 20%, with some international travel.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
