Description We are in search of a CFO to join our team. Based in ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Illinois, the CFO will play a critical role in our company's financial planning and strategic growth. The role is integral to our team and will have the authority to provide input and effect change to improve our company's position.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Chief Financial Officer and a strategic business partner to the leadership team

• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts

• Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization

• Identify, acquire, and implement systems and software to provide financial and operational information

• Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency

• Communicate, engage, and interact with the CEO and Leadership Team

• Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion

• Recruit, interview, and hire finance department staff as required

• Serve as a key member of the leadership team and round table discussion panel

• Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models

• Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the leadership team Requirements • Proven experience in a CFO or similar leadership role within a financial setting

• Extensive knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

• Proficiency in the use of financial management software, such as 'Accounting Software Systems' and 'ADP - Financial Services'

• Ability to strategize and solve problems promptly

• Aptitude in sound decision-making and long-term strategic planning

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping

• Hands-on experience with company audits, compliance, and budget processes

• Proficient in the use of '3M', 'Business systems', and 'CRM'

• Strong understanding and experience in 'Accounting Functions', 'Auditing', 'Budget Processes', 'Capital Management', 'Cash Flow Analysis'

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
