Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Electro-Mechanic provides service to the production department through electrical and mechanical support. This role also participates in the Preventive Maintenance program to ensure equipment readiness and contributes to continuous improvement of equipment and processes. The candidate will exemplify the Company's Core Values in Health & Safety, People, Quality/Food Safety, and Growth. The position requires flexibility in shift schedules and the ability to work in both cold and hot environments.

Hard Skills

  • Install, examine, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components for equipment and plant systems/fixtures

  • Read manuals, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly

  • Record data in CMMS system

  • Work with Maintenance Department to create/improve Preventive Maintenance plans and schedules

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment

  • Evaluate hazards and describe measures to achieve a safe work environment

  • Take direction from Maintenance Department Group Leader/Leader

  • Adherence to PPE, SOP, HACCP, and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove, California.

Work Environment

4 am - 2:30 pm, 2 pm - 12:30 am, 10 pm - 6:30 am. Schedule can change week to week by an hour or so, posted on Thursdays for the following week. Saturdays are potential workdays. Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends, able to work in refrigerated cold and/or hot environments, perform physically strenuous activities, and work with food allergens and sanitization chemicals.
