We offer a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Supervises appropriate functions of daily office operations and performs various office duties.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Supervises and provides leadership to customer service employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Helps enter orders and maintains customer satisfaction through quality decision making and communication. Follows necessary procedures required to efficiently process order information related to credit status, acknowledgements and product and price verifications. Answers telephone, determines the nature of business and directs call to the correct department or destination. Communicates with customers, salespersons, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders and address complaints. Performs activities and follows procedures to organize, supplement and process incoming work, enters orders from mail-ins, internet, faxed in and walk in customers. Operates office machines such as photocopiers, printers, and personal computers.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 - 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
