Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring batches of products being made, cross-training on various production lines, and ensuring the proper maintenance of waste water and cleaning barrels. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate gauges and equipment settings.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor batches of products during production.

  • Cross-train on various production lines.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of waste water and cleaning barrels.

  • Maintain correct gauges for temperature, mixing speed, and materials.

  • Mix and maintain batches of product.

  • Ensure quality control throughout the production process.

  • Manage the general operation of machinery.

  • Keep busy during downtime while batches are mixing.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and quality control.

  • Proficiency in machine operation.

  • General labor and production skills.

  • Ability to monitor and maintain gauges and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work with small crew.

  • Willingness to take prolonged breaks or time off as needed.

Work Environment

You will work in a production facility with a small crew of 25. The environment is relaxed, with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. The role involves a lot of waiting around while batches are mixing, so you will need to keep yourself busy during downtime. Dress code and specific facility conditions will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
