We are currently seeking a CPA to join our team, who will be instrumental in overseeing complex financial filings and managing accounting functions across multiple business entities. This role demands a high level of proficiency in accounting practices, tax regulations, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will bring advanced technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to offer strategic financial guidance, ensuring precision and compliance across all accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complex Financial Filings: Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings for various business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring all financial practices adhere to legal standards.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform detailed financial analyses and generate comprehensive reports to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage internal and external audit processes, including preparation, documentation, and resolution of audit findings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.
  • Business Integration: Oversee financial operations across multiple businesses, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting and compliance.
  • Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent advanced coursework is preferred.
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on complex financial filings and multi-business management.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
