Position Summary - The test Technician is responsible for testing new printed circuit cards, assembling cards in enclosures, calibrating assemblies per job requirements, mounting electronics to meters when required. Will also repair and calibrate returned used equipment. In addition, the Electronic Test Technician is responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement effort through the utilization of Lean and 5S programs.

Duties and Responsibilities Test circuit boards Assemble, test and calibrate Hoffer electronics Repair/ calibrate returned electronic assemblies. Complete Repair Work Order documentation. Maintain proper QHR records of work performed. Maintain/archive calibration records on computer.

Authority Level Reject or correct errors on PCB's using the NCP Procedure Draw parts from stockroom to complete tasks. Initiate CPA's as needed.

Qualifications Certificate of training in electronic technology or equivalent military training. Knowledge and experience with basic electronic test equipment. Read and interpret electronic schematics. Capable of following electronic test procedures Ability to troubleshoot problems with minimum assistance Solid written and verbal communication skills High standards of excellence, high integrity and work ethnic

Basis of Evaluation The Electronic Test Technician will be evaluated on the following bases: 1. General knowledge of electronic theory, Hoffer Flow Controls electronics and test procedures. 2. Ability to test, repair and calibrate assigned electronic products. 3. Works in an orderly, efficient manner meeting required schedules. 4. Can be relied on for quality and accuracy. 5. Follows written and oral instructions and interacts politely with others in performing his/her job. 6. Appropriate, timely and effective use of NCP Procedures
