Pay rate:

  • $17.00/$18.50. Material Handler

  • $18.50/$20.00 Forklift Operator

  • $18.00 Shipping

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • 1 st Shift 6:15am-2:15pm

  • 2 nd Shift 2:45pm- 11:00pm

  • 1st shift 11:00am-7:15pm (Part-time)

Overview

The Material Handler is an entry level role responsible for maintaining incoming and outgoing product movement throughout the facility. Forklift Operator is an experience role responsible for maintaining incoming and outgoing product movement throughout the facility.

Job Duties

  • Inspect, sort, store and perform data entry for all core, inbound part/unit shipments, and returned goods.According to established TS procedures.

  • Pick and pack assigned parts according to shop order pick tags or use of RF handheld devices.

  • As needed, transfer stock physically and electronically using computer and/or RF guns.

  • Pick and pack customer orders by unit/parts according to order notes.

  • Place materials in the trays on the carts. These materials are brought out to the factory for assembly.

  • Operating a Crown Stand-up Reach truck in the warehouse to move product and shipments between departments.

  • Previous experience with a Stand-Up Reach truck forklift is required. (Crown preferred but not required) 6 months is sufficient experience. But must include experience with all the following equipment: reach-truck, pallet rider, cherry picker, standard sit-down.

  • An actual test on a Stand-up reach truck will be conducted onsite to check your level of experience.

  • Will also be tasked with material handling work from time to time when work is slow.

  • Physical Requirements: Standing and moving around work area for entire shift. Lifting required up to 35 lbs. unassisted and up to 65+ lbs. in a team lift.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification

  • Hs Diploma

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work on a team.

  • Ability to follow instructions with accuracy.

  • Previous distribution/warehouse experience.

  • Basic PC skills required (on/off, read screen, toggle, use mouse, check inventory)

  • Reach Crown/ Sit-down, Cherry Picker experience.
